About CPC Kids
CPC Kids has been under the leadership PJ since spring of 2023. The growing ministry has approximately 10-19 kids on a given Sunday. Each Sunday is filled with a Bible lesson, games, crafts, snack, and fellowship time. We meet on Sundays at 10 A.M. and Wednesdays at 6:00 P.M. PJ (Pastor Jennifer)
PJ is the main face of the children's ministry and main teacher most Sundays. She graduated in 2019 with a degree in Children's Ministry and Christian education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She loves spending time at the church with her ministry kids, or spending time at the church prepping for the many services and events, but it does not feel like work to her. When she is not at church (or working on things for church) you can find her playing with her cats at home, making things with her Cricut machine, or just simply sitting down for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She also has recently discovered how much fun the Nintendo Switch can be.
Volunteers
PA (Pastor Alan)
PA, and his wife Teri, rolled into what is now Connecting Point Church in Aug of 2014 after he spent the first 10 years of his pastoring ministry at another local church.
Like PJ, he graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University, where God strongly suggested he pursue his BA in Christian Ministries. Unlike PJ, he didn't start his undergrads work until the fall of 2004, at which he was 38 years old and finished up in 2008 at 42 years old.
His responsibilities include preaching on Sunday mornings, responding to PJ when she would like some help (probably more like her babysitting me when Teri isn't around), as well as sharing his various gifts that God anointed him with in other areas at CPC as needed.
He enjoys hanging out with his wife and family, his bonus family members, and fellowshipping with anyone who can tolerate him. He also has a deeply rooted love for all things music. He plays the piano and organ.
Currently, he's a hair's breadth away from retirement from his secular job. He has expressed great desire for some traveling with Teri that may, or may not, involve the airlines and cruise-ship industry.

Ms. Darla
Ms. Darla has also been with the CPC Kids ministry since spring of 2023. She loves helping PJ where needed. She also heads up the OCC ministry at CPC. Anyone that has met her realizes why her second title for PJ is Children's Ministry Food coordinator. When not helping PJ she can be found tending to her garden and creating new and healthy recipes for her family.
