The children will be going on a field trip to the Zoo on July 11, 2026. Plan to be at the church by 9:00 A.M. to depart by 9:30 A.M. and arrive at the zoo when they open at 10:00 A.M. I plan on having everyone back at the church by approximately 2:00 P.M. Please make sure the children each have a sack lunch for a picnic in the park. There will be time spent at the zoo, followed by lunch, followed by a train ride, followed by time to play at the playground before we head home. 

As chaperones begin to volunteer, I will have a better idea of carpool and groups for the day.  If your child requires a car seat let PJ know PLENTY in advance. She has a valid one already in her car and can purchase others if necessary. I am anticipating at this time no more than 12-15 kids but that could change at any time. 

The children have actively been earning money to pay for this trip. If for some reason your child still needs money for the trip. I am sending home monthly notices.  

Please have each child's permission slip (and additional money if needed) turned in no later than July 5, 2026. If you need another or have lost yours, there is a file on this page to print another or let PJ know and she will get you another one.  If you choose to chaperone, I anticipate to pay for your entry ticket and train ride as well.   

As an added bonus and security feature. PJ plans on making CPC shirts and Cinch Sacks for the children. 

Don't forget to bring

• Comfortable Closed Toed Shoes (there will be lots of running and playing on the playground)
• Jacket if Necessary 
• Water Bottle (with name on it somehow)
• Sack Lunch (I will have coolers for items that need to be chilled)
• Money for Gift Shop (if desired)
• Sunscreen (Let PJ know if you send some)
